  • In this class we'll be focusing on chord progressions: how they work emotionally to create tension & release and how to apply this to songwriting. This class will go beyond knowing what chords are in a key, as you learn how the chords relate to each other (and how melodies relate to chords!) - you'll gain a better sense of how music works and you'll learn to apply this to your own songwriting!

  • You’ll get personal coaching and group support on setting priorities for what YOU want to get better at!

  • *A Level 4 proficiency is required for this class. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this. ​

  • You're welcome to take Song L2 before the Intro to Songwriting.

  • Everybody loves the online course that comes with the "live" classes! This course is updated weekly with new videos that review what we go over in class, all the handouts are available for download, and any accompanying audio is there as well. I often have the song we're working on slowed down to practice with.
