  • Have you been playing other people's songs and now you'd like to write your own? Have you always wanted to express yourself in song? Have you written some songs and want a jumpstart, support, some inspiration?

  • Songs inspire us in many ways... to reflect, to smile, to dance, to feel joyful or transformed. In this 8-week workshop we will be creating, learning and experimenting with the practice & art of songwriting! (Post level 2 guitar experience recommended!)

  • In possibly THE MOST supportive environment you will learn: ​Elements that constitute "song" • How rhythm, harmony, melody and structure affect us emotionally • Writing lyrics and merging them with music ​• How to craft a song that expresses you! ​​

  • No prior vocal experience is necessary. (Really!!)

  • Please be prepared to experiment and have fun! If you've fallen off the "guitar wagon", this is a great no-pressure way to start playing again! This is also a great class to "retake" and go deeper with!

  • Everybody loves the online course that comes with the "live" classes! This course is updated weekly with new videos that review what we go over in class, all handouts are available for download, and any accompanying audio is there as well.
