What makes this class special?

Each 8-week session includes a weekly live Zoom class & an accompanying online course

  • In the Level 3 class we continue to work on strumming/rhythm adding more complex techniques. We also start to learn about the language of music and how it applies to our playing. Sometimes people take this class for the music theory even when playing is a bit more advanced.

  • You will learn the individual note names of the guitar along with the chromatic and major scales. (And how to use them in your playing!)

  • You will learn the concept of how chords are made (harmony).

  • You will learn various rhythm techniques designed to bring you from asking "what's the stumming pattern?" to feeling confident creating your own strumming rhythms.

  • As with all the classes you will learn more songs and new chords.

  • Everybody loves the online course that comes with the "live" classes! This course is updated weekly with new videos that review what we go over in class, all the handouts are available for download, and any accompanying audio is there as well. I often have the song we're working on slowed down to practice with.
