What makes this class special?

Each 8-week session includes a weekly live Zoom class & an accompanying online course

  • The Level 2 class is for people who know a few chords (C, Em, G, D, A, Am and E), can change between these chords (even slowly) and are just starting to strum (there is very little strumming in L1 - we start strumming in level 2).

  • You will learn about the musical language of time (whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, and sixteenth notes) and how they apply to creating strumming patterns for guitar.

  • You will learn different strumming patterns and techniques.

  • You will learn more chords and new songs while practicing being able to change chords with greater clarity and precision.

  • You will learn finger picking patterns and techniques as well as how to read tablature.

  • Everybody loves the online course that comes with the "live" classes! This course is updated weekly with new videos that review what we go over in class, all the handouts are available for download, and any accompanying audio is there as well. I often have the song we're working on slowed down to practice with.

  • ​ All with a dynamic group experience (lots of cool people!)
